Phew! I made it through the wedding season and the madness that is the holidays around here. I delivered about 20 albums between Oct 1st and Dec 25th. The last one being delivered on the 23rd (yay Clare!) I have finally had time to think and prepare a bit before 2012 starts in 3 weeks, down in West Palm Beach, FL! What ever happened to an "off season"?! lol I'm incredibly thankful that I get to travel the globe shooting some of the most amazing weddings!!

Some stats for 2011.. I photographed in more than 10 different states from California to Florida to Maine. I drove all night through a hurricane to make it to a wedding (that was fun!). I covered the US three times and combined (with my second and sometimes third shooters) took more than 250,000 images!! I worked on everything from weddings to family portraits to spine surgery at Mt. Sinai (ick!) to inner city schools in Rochester & Springfield, MA. I now have an album queue that feels larger than our national debt... lol I photographed sunsets over the Blue Hills, Napa Valley, The mountains of Maine, the coasts of Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and Florida... in other words... 2011 KICKED ASS!

Some stats for 2012... I have almost all of my weddings booked on Martha's Vineyard for some awesome clients! I fully expect to drop the 30lbs (or more) I put on eating in airports and on the road and hopefully this will be the year I get to blog since i'm not traveling so much! I'm excited for what's to come and hopefully time will allow me to share of that with you. Between being a small business owner and trying to win consecutive "Father of the year" awards... "time" is hard to come by so this blog suffers.. hopefully 2012 will be different. I have updated the website a little with some 2010 & 2011 weddings and hopefully will add more soon!

I want to send out a HUUUUUGE thank you to some of the awesome photographers that worked with me this year. I firmly believe that I surround myself with the best this industry has to offer! Thank you Cory Ann Ellis, Michelle Turner, David "whack-a-mole" Murray You guys are not only amazing photographers but wonderful friends... thank you!! I look forward to working with you all this season if our weddings allow. Thank you for taking time away from your insane schedules to help me with mine! I look forward to showing up a wedding of yours soon! :-)

So... thank you 2011!! 2012 has a lot to live up to!!

ahhhhhh October...... as much as I love this time of year, i'm slammed. I'm traveling every weekend and am posting weddings as fast as I can... I just wanted to share a quick link for all you chefs out there. What an amazing wedding! I feel so lucky to attend some of the most amazing weddings and get to work with the very best vendors around. This season, which is far from over is shaping up to be my best year yet! I have traveled to every corner of the US and most corners at least twice! :-) Maine, here I come again! lol

Cristina and Michael wedding really was nothing short of amazing. It was one of those wedding were I wished I was a guest!!

I have said it a zillion times on this blog, I truly am the luckiest person and have the best clients. Brooke and Damon's Napa Valley, Ca wedding was no exception!! The entire weekend was packed with amazing details and incredible locations. From the wine cellar rehearsal dinner to the manicured gardens and al fresco vineyard reception.. truly spectacular!

I can't thank Stacy Mccain and the ladies from Paula LeDuc enough for all their efforts. Truly amazing professionals and wonderful people! It's weddings like this that remind me of not only why I do what I do but just how much fun it can really be. Thank you!!

May weddings on the Cape rock! They're cozy, they're intimate and they're a huuuuge party! Arlene and Dan clearly had a great time at their own wedding!! It was one of those weddings I wished I was a guest! :-)

Summer is officially here on MV! Some may argue the start of summer is Memorial weekend but we all know it's the "Taste" that really gets things started around here. This past thursday was the Preservation Trust's annual fund raising blow out party of the summer.

Thanks to Chris Scott, Janet Heath and the rest of the folks at the Preservation Trust for another great bash!

ok...ok.... i'll blog more!! I have been getting tons of emails about what a slacker I am since i've let my blog go quite for so long...well i'll try and post as much as I can but more and more of my clients are having me sign NDA's. Which means blogging is going to be tough when I can't show faces or recognizable places! LOL. I have plenty I can show so i'll get to those asap!

Since a blog post without photos is silly on a photographers blog, here's Lila(7), Clara(5) & Ava (20mos) They keep me pretty busy and Lila is really pushing to come with me this weekend to Napa for another amazing wedding! Stay tuned to see if she hides in my carry on. :-)

Hello again! Before I catch you up on the past few months let me introduce you to Sarah and Neal! Sarah is a good friend of Amy & Peter (Hi Amy!) who's wedding I photographed last fall in West Palm... well this time I was in Naples for Sarah's wedding. I could really get used to going to florida a few times each year! :-)
