I'm often reminded of why I do what I do. A mid week elopement!! What they lacked in guests they more than made up for in tears and fun. I'm always honored to be a part of anyone's wedding but when i'm the sole witness....that to me is AMAZING. Congrats you two and best wishes for an amazing life together!!!

I have said it a thousand times, engagement photos rock! I can't think of a better way to get to know a couple than to spend an afternoon playing on the beach or wobbly dock! :-) I'm excited for Jillian & Ross' New Year's Day wedding in Western Mass! It's going to be perfect and quite a contrast to the summer fun we had on the Vineyard!

I LOVE engagement photos! I can't think of a better way to document your relationship than photos of the two of you just being yourselves.... Meet Lauren and Mike. These photos pretty much sum them up. Warm, loving and completely into each other. I just pressed the button, they did all the rest.
Apparently Lauren and Mike have a "thing" with their feet.... :-) They photograph them often and in various places. Here's my version complete with some action!

I first met Clare and Nate at Amy & Peter's wedding last Oct in Palm Beach Florida. (Hi Amy!) After a few rained out attempts, we finally squeezed in Clare and Nate's engagement photos just in time to submit to the NYT...fingers crossed we'll get in! There's just something about NYC and I can't think of a better place to play than Central Park! A HUGE storm passed through while we were shooting but it only slowed us down some and made for killer skies!!!
There are soooo many cool places to shoot in the Park!
I found this guy making HUGE bubbles and just had to have some fun with them!!

Congratulations Langdon and Matt!! What an great wedding! I LOVE shooting in places I never have before! I think it adds more to the photos since i'm looking at the venue for the first time. The Wianno Club is such a great place, right on the water, it's hard not to have an amazing time.
Langdon's dress was amazing! So simple and sheer, it really moved! I could have photographed it all day!

I think my favorite part of engagement photos is you never know what your going to shoot or what your going to come home with. I like it that way. No time restrictions, no location issues and nobody yelling at me to hurry up so we can get to the reception! :-)
This image kills me. I wish one of my photographer friends would take a photo like this of my wife and I... (yes, CA i'm talking to you) The connection Cara and Dan have just radiates through this image. I hope they love it as much as I do!
